TAXING QUESTION.

Hi,

How long do you keep your receipts dont mind,.. but i have a few years saved now.,  in case the tax man ever needs them,

but surely there must be a cut off point , before my office becomes over-run with books and reciepts.

i have 12 years of receipts and records.all in their own filing cabinet!keep at least 7 years filed properly to one side in case of investigation etc.

I think HMRC quote 6 years + current year, so suppose that's 7 years.
