just thought id mention this had the rep on from ufindus.com for last 3 days pestering me told him to go away to day and stop wasting my time so he said hes now going to slander my company.
dont trust them from what he said if i joined up i would be unbelivably well of for the enquires they are getting for my area so why cant he find any one to sign up he couldnt answer that.

A similar post was written on the cleaning forum below a few weeks back. They've been pestering me for the last week or so again, they get very rude when you say you're not interested and have an answer for everything.
I wouldn't use them and would question how much work they could bring you anyway.

How many people on here use ufindus when they need a tradesperson? I bet you'd be hard pushed to find a couple, if any!!

i have also done several searches on ufindus and my free listing comes out on top quite a lot for my county and rep said he had nearly 100 enquires on the site today for carpet cleaners in my area but i have not one call ??

Just had ufindus rep on phone this morning giving his lecture on the benefits of ufindus listing. 

Said I wanted proof so he gave me a couple of websites.  I checked them out and they are ufindus customers.  But when I put "carpet cleaning bradford" they didn't show up on google neither did ufindus.  Looked at 10 carpet cleaners on ufindus and only one showed up on first page with ufindus  (he was in small village in middle of nowhere) but ufindus was beaten by accessplace.co.uk's listing of the company who provide free listings.

When rep called back 2 hours earlier than when I asked, I told him and said not interested.  Spent 25 mins arguing the toss with him,  everything that came out of his mouth was bull***s. We both did searches on the net as he was trying to convince me. After five search variations one company came top of list..and rep immediatley said that was his company..whilst he was talking checked ufindus website and they were not his customer.  Then rep said ufindus sold domain name..checked whois.com whilst he was talking and the supplier was 123-reg.

So ufindus are a bunch of bull***t liers.  Rep became very rude shouting over the top of me.  Constantly repeating "Who shows up on first page.....answer the question! .. answer the question!...ufindus...ufindus...ufindus"  I said thats very nice but i'm not paying £400 to promote your business.

I did notice some respectable carpet cleaners on their site.  I would like to know what they think of the service.  Anybody here use them?

p.s the 100 enquires they claim are probably other carpet cleaners checking them out.  Or they just made it up :

Simple answer to that one Matt.....................Tell him you are registered with both domestic and Corporate TPS, and if his company calls again you will report the matter to them (5K fine)

I tell you what id say, Ask them if they are so good then why not let you have a 1 day free trial, im sure if could see 100 hits per day on my site id gladly pay double what they are asking, if they deliver what they promise why cant they do this....im sure its becuase they are talking rubbish and give you no where near the results they are suggesting.  Just take your money and run, id also ask for a list of people who have renewed subscriptions as i bet they dont have one, also why not ring the companys who are allready on there and ask what they think some may tell you to naff off but i bet one or two would speak to you especially if ufindus are crap as everyone likes a good moan.

I put my self on ufindus .com many weeks ago, and had a call from the lady rep, I just told her I was on the change over to wfp, and its just cost me £10,000  (not) and I couldn't afford it, she said she would call back in a couple of months to see how i was getting on, not had one call from my listing, so when they call back I'm sure they will, I'm just going to tell them, I don't do wc anymore, after reading all the crap you guy's have been getting i dont need that sort of advertsing. so thanks guy's for making me aware of those nob heads.

I got conned by ufindus. Like a fool I paid for the first installment over the phone. The next day I got buyer's remorse. They refused to cancel the contract. I cancelled my debt card and they still took payments out (the long number stays the same) only the issue number changes.

When I checked some internet accounts of thier service it was horrifying. The small print in the contract says they will take payments out unless you cancel in writing.

All in all I agree it is a wise move to give ufindUs a wide berth!!!
