New website using Wordpress
« on: December 30, 2011, 03:10:19 pm »
Hi All,

My current website is this one >> www.iconicwindowcleaning.co.uk

I'm currently developing a new site using Wordpress here >> www.iconicwindowcleaning.com

Can you let me know what you think of the layout?

It's not finished yet as I need to add more pictures of us working etc...

Thanks,
Andy  ;)

The old one looks a lot more cleaner to me. Much prefer it than the newer one

I like the new one mate, very nice indeed.  Only thought would be to remove your e-mail addy and use only the button to send mail, this should help cut down on spam.

Andy, both look good :)
Is the second to be an additional or main one?
If main one, what was behind making the change :)

Everyone is right about the 2nd website. I really like like it.  The second website is clear and makes you want to sit and read it.

Great work

The second one is going to be my new main site... Both domains (.co.uk & .com) will point to the same site.

The reason behind the change is that I no longer offer gutter cleaning, fascia & soffit cleaning etc (I sub this tyoe if work out if asked)... I'm just concentrating on window cleaning, so thought I would change my website.

I'm waiting for some better weather so we can take some pictures of us working to put on the site... I'm also going to have seperate domestic and commercial sections containing more information on the services we offer to each.

Andy  ;)

Hi Rob,

Thanks for your comments.

I did the website myself... It used Wordpress (www.wordpress.org)... I host it with 1and1 Internet (www.1and1.co.uk).

Hi - I think it was £28 or something like that... Then it's pretty easy to add widgets etc...
