Is this a scam ? HM customs and excise

Just got it today,think it's dodgy but you would have thought they would have said I am owed a bit more,more likely to click for a larger amount

Hi Mark,

This will definately be a scam - Do not click on any links or enter any personal data.  The HMRC never sends emails containing sensitive information.

As had been said definitely a scam

One other clue is that the web links are ofter .co.uk wheras the real ones are .gov.uk

SCAM!

had this before.

The Tax office or any bank wil not contact you by email and ask for details.

never input you details, unless you like being robbed

Yes. I got that one too, made me laugh because I never paid tax to HMRC in my life. It is not that I do not pay my tax, I simply live in another Country.  ;D ;D

If, like me you do your tax form online, you
can simply log on and it tells you if you owe anything
or if your in credit. I do my own books and fill in my
own tax form, the tax form is a doddle now it's online.
