Hello

Ive had a call from a customer who told me that a truck was parked outside his shop over the holidays and must have been losing diesel oil or engine oil. The shop has reopened and the people entering the shop have walked the oily mess into the shop onto the carpet.
Any advice on which are the best products to use to remove this mess from the carpet would be appreciated. I will be viewing the shop later today so will be able to let you know what type of carpet is in place.

I prefer dry compound on fuel/oil spills. Usually with a pre-spray of something like Chemspec heavy duty soil lifter or Prochem bonnet buff.

pre spray carpet and while agitating with enviro i have a bottle of citra boost in my holster if it don't move with the agitation i give it both barrels, okay maybe one barrel of the citra boost, and agitate again, usually does the trick with out losing any time.

Amberklene FE10 is the best stuff I've ever used on oil or grease spills . Made by Ambersil .

I've never tried this on a carpet, but it works brilliantly on clothes: rub Swarfega onto the affected area until the oil is fully dissolved/emulsified, then clean as usual. I've cleaned all sorts of (washable) clothes using this method.

Sounds like a job for Champion.

On really bad patches spray a bonnet with white spirit and pad, then extract.
