Bought this applicator a few weeks back:

To me the handle is a bit small and feels a bit uncomfortable to use so I ordered the Unger extension handle and feels more comfortable to use, but now doesn't fit inside my bucket with the lid on sat in the sieve So can anyone recommend me a better applicator where the handle is longer but will also sit inside the Unger bucket with lid in the sieve?

It looks idendtical (in the pics), is there any difference? Have you used both?

used the majority of applicators
i like the ergo tec one best the one youd linked too

why do you want a longer handle?iv got both you have posted here and i use the eco tec one better grip than the standard one cant see you getting much better

The handle just feels a bit short (IMO) and would feel nicer if a bit bigger. Will give the eco tec applicator a bash!

the ergotec t handle is great for holding onto water with its groves/ channels, but the best sleeve would be (if you can still get them) is real wool very hard to get them though...

the best ive seen recently as i use them is ettore microfibre sleeve it doesn't loose its shape or thickness in the washing machine like some of the unger ones do...

get yourself a wagtail. and practice with it over xmas u will be staggered at its benefits/speed.

beef up your handle with rubber tape ,gets better grip too

 i also recommend the SYR tiger sleeve (blue n white stripe) the materials like scrimcloth ,an unsung hero is that sleeve.

im forever buying that sleeve and have quite a  stock of em now ,case they stop making it or change the material
