ere's a bit about Online photo storage, how to post your pictures, adjust them so they are eay to view and more....
Photobucket Version (what i use)

Register for your Photobucket account at http://www.photobucket.com

Email Uploading
click account settings, scroll down and on the left hand side it will say change mobile settings... You will see 'mobile upload address' this is the email address you can send pictures to directly to your photobucket account from your phone or computer without having to log in to photobucket. copy this to your phone address book and save it.

Uploading Pictures Through Photobucket
1)Single picture upload –
On the home screen you will see a green button (at time of press) that says 'upload images and Videos'..... click the button and it will open up the files on your computer. Double click the file you want to upload and it will be automatically uploaded to photobucket. You then have the option to move to an album, give the image a title & description. If you don't do this, the image will just be kept on your home screen (you don't have to move it to an album or give it a title or description straight away, this can be done at a later date)

2)Bulk Uploading –
On the home screen you will see the green 'upload images and videos' button. Below that you will see 'use our bulk up loader. Upload multiple files, fast'. Click the bulk up loader that is blue and the bulk up loader page will load up. Here you have the option to select a number of photo's from your computer and upload them at once. Select the files you want to view from your computer, then click on the images you want to upload. The pictures you are uploading will go into box number 3. Then click upload which is in the bottom right hand corner (titles and descriptions can be added at a later date). Once your pictures have been uploaded you will have the option to add titles, descriptions or add to an album if you choose. Click save and your pictures will be added to your home screen or if you selected an album, they will be added there.

Editing-
To edit a picture, first find the picture. Above the picture you will see a blue 'edit'. Hover your mouse over the 'edit' and click on it. This will take you to the editing page. There are different options above the picture depending on what you want to do with it. Have a play about with it, but remember that once you click the replace original button, you will need to upload the picture again if you haven't got it right. I'm not going to go through each editing option, but the main ones.

Resizing a large picture to post on a forum:
Click the edit button on the required image. Select the resize button.... look for the pre-set sizes and click on it. This will give you the option to change the size of the image. I find that 'medium' (320 x 240) is a good size to post on a forum. Once you have decided which size you want then click that size. The image will then be changed to the size you selected. You then have the option the cancel, save a copy or replace original. Personally I like to save a copy. Once you have saved it... change the title description so you know which copy has been resized (its hard to tell when they are thumbnails)

Rotating a picture:
Took a picture at the wrong angle... click the rotate button at the top in the direction you want it to rotate... once its done.... save it

Cropping a picture:

in the edit screen

Moving your picture

To move a picture, first find the picture. Above the picture you will see a blue 'move'. Hover your mouse over the 'move' and click on it. Select where you want the image to be moved to.

If you do not have an album already created, you can do this by finding the 'add a new album' option, which is on the left hand side of the page in the box that is titled 'Albums'. Type in your album name and click save. This will create your new album.

Deleting a picture

To delete a picture, first find the picture. Above the picture you will see a blue 'delete'. Hover your mouse over the 'delete' and click on it. You will get a pop up box asking if you want to delete the image and listing things it may affect. If you are sure you want to delete the image, then click 'OK'. The image will then be deleted for good.

Posting your picture

Here you have two options... either post a link to your image or to post the image so it is visible.

Link to image:

1)Right click on the image

2) Click properties

3) Select the Address (URL) which looks like this : http://img716.i.us/img716/1372 ... ges001.jpg - to select this, left click just before the http:// part and drag the mouse across so the entire address goes blue (from http to .jpg)

4) Right click on the highlighted blue address and click copy

5) On the full editor on the forum... click the URL button

6) press Ctrl & V (at the same time)

7) click submit

or

On photbucket, click on the thumbnail of the picture. This will bring up the picture on its own. On the left side you will see a box titled 'share this image'. To post a link to this picture, click on the 'direct link' box (the http:// ...... part) This will automatically copy the link. Then follow on from step 5 from above.

Showing a visible image:

1) Right click on the image

2) Click properties

3) Select the Address (URL) which looks like this : http://img716.i.us/img716/1372 ... ges001.jpg - to select this, left click just before the http:// part and drag the mouse across so the entire address goes blue (from http to .jpg)

4) Right click on the highlighted blue address and click copy or Ctrl & c

5) On the full editor on the forum... click the img button

6) press Ctrl & V (at the same time) or right click and press paste

7) click submit

Or

On photbucket, click on the thumbnail of the picture. This will bring up the picture on its own. On the left side you will see a box titled 'share this image'. To post the image, click on the 'IMG Code' box (the http:// ...... part) This will automatically copy the link. Then follow on from step 5 from above.
