Setting up a L5 with 3 pumps
« on: December 17, 2011, 06:23:54 pm »
have now a L5 heater many thanks Tony.

Now I need to plug it into my system, at the moment I have 3 pumps, one each for the side and back hose reel, these are Yvair 5 litre per mintues ones and one 12 litre per minute one which I use to fill up the water containers and backpack as I use them, I also use this to fill my carpet cleaning machines when I am on some apartment contracts.

In tony's van he had the water from the water tank go into his pump then to the L5 and from there to the one hose reel, Instead I was thinking of connecting the water tank to the L5 then run a hose from the L5 to 3 T connectors which will feed the 3 pumps.

Simple question, Will this work  or will I blow myself up   or do I need 3 L5 heaters, one for each pump

Will the pumps be ok with hot water running through them.
Could you not use a valve system to direct the water through the L5

The pumps should be ok, as they are not the too different to the ones used in carpet cleaning machines, as for the valve idea, I need to run all 3 pumps at the same time on occasions and I certainly need to run 2 at the same time, so a valve would not work.
