Keeping costs down
« on: December 16, 2011, 04:51:08 pm »
On wednesday morning on my way to my first job I filled the van with diesel, and re-set the trip meter.

Since then I have done seven jobs and 39 miles  ;D
Doing the best job in the world as well as I can

Alternatively last week I did a 140 mile round trip for a single £300 plus job and was home for 2 pm :)

this year i have really tried to organise my work to save travel  eg working in diff areas or parts of town on sep days  hence cutting the travel down.   does not always work out but on the whole has saved my time and kept fuel consumption down

Starting Monday the first 7 jobs will be less than
25 miles total.
Impossible done straight away, miracles can take a little longer.
