Do you use a fogwash / L5 Spruce ?
Hi,
No, neither.
I have a diesel Eberspacher hot air night heater in the van that keeps the cab and cargo area warm and that was bad enough trying to explain what that was to them.
I have a Webasto Thermo Top C water heater from a yacht plus virtually everything else I need to build up a two man hot water system. What I have been half heartedly looking for is a decent steel enclosure to fit this thing into.
I have thought of making up a wooden cabinet, but in the summer there is always more important things to do and in the winter its too cold and miserable.
I have given the Fogwash serious consideration. I came to the conclusion that I would be better off fitting an LPG tank under the van (I have a Citroen Relay and they make suitable chassis mounted tanks with brackets to fit the Ducato mobile homes) with an LPG filler secured to the rear towbar.
My only issue was finding a suitable roof vent that was low profile as I have a roofrack.
I did try to find the supplier of the roof vents that BT used for the gas heaters in their old Transits before they switched to Eberspatcher hot air heaters in their new vans as they were ideal.
