First thing I do in the morning, check mobiles for texts and computer for e-mails, standard pratice really for any business. At least she let you know and was trying to save you a trip, not her fault you didn't read your e-mails :)

Nothing wrong with pay and go phones. Some of us like to live our lives credit and hassle, stress free or as near to excluding mortgage and van.

Too easy to run up huge debts with credit, living life worrying are bank accounts in the black or red each month, robbing Peter to pay Paul.

I find PAYG just fine so long as I keep it well in credit i.e. top up some more when it goes under a tenner.  I'm not sure what the problem is with that really.  I used to have a contract but my useage was so erratic, it was wasted on me.  Some months I might only use £2 - others £10.

i agree with you here bob.  doesnt sound harsh to me at all

not been cleaned for 2 months and then cancels you the night before her next one by email?  i wouldnt be happy with that either to be honest.  if they cancel with less than 24hrs notice we still charge them for the clean.  i tell them that i dont go into the office before starting work in the morning so wont recieve messages till the end of the working day.
