Ecover washing up liqiud
« on: December 12, 2011, 06:06:06 pm »
Bought some today to try, just wondered why some add vinegar to it. Not as sticky as fairy but better glide than unger liquid are my initial opinions.

When I tried it, I mixed it 10/1 ............. 10 parts Ecover 1 part water.  ;D Just kidding, I personally didn't get on with it, didn't seem to have as much slip as good old fairy.  ;)
I can remember when waking up stiff in the morning was a good thing.

4 days in and i cannot believe how good this stuff is. Normally with ht sun being so low it is hard to achieve good results, but i am really impressed with the results. If you havnt tried ecover get yourself some. Ive been trad for near on 15 years and have never used a better solution

I've used for a few months, 20ml in 8l bucket. I put 20 ml white vinegar in too (recommended on another forum) as vinegar stops there being any film left on the glass and better cleaning power too. Trouble is although being very good, the vinegar degrades the squeegee rubber really quickly causing drag. I was turning the rubber at lunch time. I now just use the ecover and agree that it is the best I have used although not this amazing product as has been made out on various forums. Worth a try if you've not used it before.
