When an offer is not an offer
« on: December 11, 2011, 09:03:32 pm »
I've just been looking through the offer sent through by a product supplier.
Basically it's 10% off everything this weekend only.
Interesting I thought, I might just give that SPM a go on the back of it, BUT, I'd be better off waiting for a no offer week....why? Because you have to pay £10.50 postage on items below £75 and because the offer makes SPM £71.82 it would be cheaper to pay the full price and not pay postage :o

If you ring and ask they'll sell you a 5kg tub to
see if you like it.

There was a programme on the other week about supermarkets making things to be on offer like large tubs of marg. Turns out two smaller tubs to the same weight were cheaper.... and people were buying the large tub.
It's not expensive, you just can't afford it.

Just got my 5kg tub today and an ideal job for it at 9.30.
EOT flat, it's in a converted mill where I do about 5 or 6
a month for the owner and they come in all shapes and
sizes. Mingers to not bad at all.
