I wouldn't get hung up on how many p/h - it's what you can earn p/h thats important.

no good doing 6 houses p/h if all you earn out of it is £15

If they are next door you could probably whizz through 6 fronts, then work through the backs and with no access problems easily do 6. I have ONE row like that.

I average 3 an hour if they are compact, in the odd estate without bay windows I might get 4 an hour. All mine are bi-monthly & do need a bit of a scrub, but even if they were cleaned monthly I wouldn't go much faster.

I do eight an hour at ease, maybe nine at a rush. The thing is there are so many types of 3 bed semi's. One of my round's is extremely compact, almost every house is just next door to the last. The houses are of the Wimpy, Beezer Homes type. Small window's in every room that each take no more than a few second's to wash. A typical house on this round with nine smallish windows will take me just about six minutes.
Now I have been doing this particular estate for 16 year's, so I aint doing it wrong.

No one on this round will expect to have to pay £10 to me or any other cleaner for that matter.
They will however pay £4.50. Now.......go figure the tenner a house brigade.

I would say 3  per hour also, if they are all close to each other. I'd rather do a good job than try to rush through as many as possible.

I do 4, 3 storey town houses all in a row for £10 each - takes me an hour - that's the nearest I've got to a similar type, with them  all together - I can get round a 3 bed semi if it's a maintenance clean, in about 10mins

Work on your own business and forget about what everyone else is doing, you're unlikely to ever be the best or the worst, just focus on what you can do and set your own targets if you desire.

Mabye compared to trad. What the feck is a forum for if not for a question of this kind? He may get a different answer from each and every, but he will be a wee bit more wiser for it.

Ian hopefully now you can see why I have asked the question. I know that there is no straight answer to my question but gives me a good window (no pun intended) of scope so that I can write an open and honest cash flow and I can then work out how many customers I can target per hour.

Feel free to reply if you wish, I knew before I posted that there would be a wide range of answers. But I'm only trying to gauge an estimate of what is sensibly possible. This isn't a dig at you in any way if thats how it comes across. I'm simply trying to explain why I asked the question.
