Security cabin clean on an industrial estate
« on: December 10, 2011, 12:00:54 pm »
I've got a security cabin to clean the outside of between Xmas and new year - it has a fair bit of glass but except for the bottom three feet (which is brick) or so it is industrial cladding with a pitched overhanging roof of similar construction. It's about 30ft x 15ft.

Would you pole it - with tap water and a detergent scrub first and then finish the windows in pure?

Or would you use a pressure washer and would you need a detergent feed into it?

Or summat else?

Help please.
It's a game of three halves!

You'll be ok to pole with tap then pure the windows

defo use TFR/Virosol or whatever is your choice.

you'll be surprised at how quick it can be done this way

I've never done one but I would try WFP connected to a tap and add TFR or Multi Surface Cleaner neat onto the brush.
If the grime is quite stubborn I would leave the soapy solution to dwell for a while to work its magic.
Finish of the windows with pure water.

Gold,do you have a backpack?
If so do your mix of tap water and TFR, and simply fill your backpack, scrub and clean with your pole.
Rinse off with pure,
I have a old spare backpack which i use only for TFR mix,i also have a couple of brushes that i have in the van which i use only on pvc cleans.
Jobs a good un!
Dont forget to run pure through your pole hose for a minute or so after just to flush the hose
