Fair play mate.  Probably more bang for your buck with a crafter, obviously it's a mercedes shell but at VW prices with their internals.  Nothing wrong with either engines/components etc, but they will still rust as all sprinters do.

Front or Rear wheel drive?  That would be a clincher for me, considering the pattern of weather we're having recently.

We run a sprinter and a vito. Only ever costs us tyres and occasionally an exhaust in 100k. No rust on them ever in that time.

How old is the Sprinter Jamie?

LWB sprinter only has a capacity of 1300kg be careful
Depends on the spec not the wheelbase the 310 higher than 210 ect first bit it weight last two number engine power they do a 516 with a big v8 now that's a van

I Run a sprinter transit and transporter all are good vans, was put of by engine probs on crafters so went for a sprinter instead last time.

Nothing touches the transporter though it just all round good even after a £1000 tiptonic gearbox problem
