can 2 fogwash heaters be run off 1 gas bottle
« on: December 08, 2011, 09:04:33 pm »
our vans are twin operator systems, 2 pumps and controllers. we are going for the fogwash heaters in the new year. if we put 2 gas bottles in each they are bound to run out at slightly different times. if we run both of 1 then its less trips for me to re fill.

so, can you run 2 off 1 20kg bottle? anyone do it?

Yep,.. the fogwash hardly uses any gas, one regulator will supply plenty enough. :)

Lee, does that mean you will have two heaters in the one van??

We have one heater supplying two men no problem, although we do not have two pumps / controllers.

one pump, one controller, one heater supplying two hose reels no problems.

Just a thought

mmm we used a splitter this week to run 2 poles from 1 pump due to broken controller and have done many times in the past but its not ideal really. so yes 2 heaters

From what I found is because whether hot or cold you will never get the same amount of water going to the poles, especially if you are using taps and triggers. With hot it's a different story. If one pole shuts off, one pole gets all the water and gets super hot. Best to leave both poles running at all times. Not ideal.
