Been using the the Super-Lite Xtreme Soft with hot water now for ages up to 80 deg and not experienced any problems at all

Infact I have only just read that this brush head isn't suitable for these temperatures

In fact we used it for the past two days and no problem so far.

No by the time it come through the pipe it will be around 50-60 degrees at the brush end. If you have it hotter than that it might damage your pipes.
