been using a load of resin recently so im thinking of a ro and di setup. so how will this work will the ro be before the resin or after. and what will it produce litre wize in an hour or two

d i  after your ro . all depends on which r o you get . what is your tds of your tap water, . you must weigh up the pros and cons . i started with an ro . but it was too much hassle and pretty slow , so i went di only . costs me £300 a year in resin  . for that i get water on demand . and hot water when needed . that is a bargain for me . but my tap water varies between 70 - 100 and i use 2500 litres a week . so i am well happy with that

from tap it about 350ppm but have a 25 ltr ans a 16ltr vessels which does the trick but the resin is changed every 6 wks what ro would you suggest mate

either a merlin or a 4040

Get some pre filters (carbon and sediment) then to RO Then thru DI into tank- that's my set up chap

cant give you much advice on ro set up . i had amerlin about 2 years did the job but a lot of waste water if your on a meter

I'm selling a 450 ro-man one I bought off here a few months back. Not used it much to be honest as I've switched back to di only as my water has dropped down to below 70 tds. If you search frankybadboy in the sale sectioon its him I bought it off. Its just the ro I'm sellin and not the booster pump I bought with it as I'm usin that as a spare pump. I do however have a big heavy duty booster pump that's bloody mega. Send me an e-mail an ill send you some picks.

hi im intrested in the resin you use to produced hot water does the resin heat it up and keeps it warm were can you buy hot resin from.

I think he means you fill your tank from the hot tap, thru normal resin.

if your tds is that high 4040 is prob best way to go.  fast water production, relatively low wasteage compared to some, should be less than 10tds before resin. maybe as low as 2! but need good pressure, otherwise need booster pump.

Don't quote me on it but I'd imagine pure water production will be quite slow?
Get yourself a 4040 RO and a DI vessel and a booster pump - I can fill a 600ltr tank in about 2 1/2 hrs
