« on: December 02, 2011, 06:43:12 pm »
Hi guys what's the best pole hose to replace the rubbish that is on my clx 27

was working today and started getting wet hose had split and it was running down the inside of the pole and then down my leg. :'(

I had to finish the house I was doing then went onto the next one where customer was in and got a cup of hot water cut 5-6ft off hose softened end in water fixed it for now but needs replacing as my clx 27 is now about 21-22ft

spent the rest of the day with wet jeans  :'(

so any recommendations would be good

Aquadaptor do the best hose (IMO)
a lot stiffer than gardiners but very well behaved !

The pole hose from Purefreedom is good stuff and really flexible. It does have Streamline written on it.
If you want to cut the middle man out, you could order direct from Streamline.

Wear shorts and if it happens again you can towel dry your leg off

Which Gardiners hose do you think you had? The soft or the stiff?

I've changed to Aquadapters hose and so far I'm really unimpressed.

Don't rate the Aquadaptor hose at all!
Tangles up just like the Gardiners hose I was using previously and is 3 times the price.
Verdict: Crap!
The search continues....

Hi Andy,

It does take quite a few days to bed in and work as intended.  Do you use hot, or can you run hot through it and straighten it out?  This helps take out the "memory".

Hi wizkid,

That's similar to ours, but we are working on the specification of ours for use with WFP, and ours is a little cheaper delivered :)

That hose is rated at 8 bar (116PSI) ours is 230PSI (16 bar) with water at 20°C, 140PSI (just under 10 bar) with water at 60°C.

We've also gone for bright colours so that the hose is easy to spot.
