well if i am honest, from some of the questions and replies asked on here by members of tacca, it makes me wonder how they have become members, what withthe criteria that has to be achieved to be a member, surly all the ongoing training they recieve ,"by whom i have yet to discover" on some of the members websites  does give them at least a basic knowledge...... I Wonder !!!!
Geoff,

ps. please dont reply saying they ask because they want to gain more knowledge, some questions i would suggest means they have no knowledge.   ouch, gonna get it now  :)
who ever said dont knock before u try ,i never tried dog crap but i know i wouldnt like  haha

Geoff, had to read this a couple of times, and then realised that you are not just referring to this thread.

I believe that a good majority of questions asked here are just to give "peace of mind" AFTER a job has been done. Sounds daft, but there you go!

Some questions I believe could be "Wind up" questions......or at least I hope they are ;D ;D ;D

Absolutely agree with Geoff

I'm also amazed at some who've lent their name to this but I only know them from this board which can be very misleading.

Maybe it's the old.............clique mentality, or having to be a " member " of something or wanting to be, one of the boys. Certainly got nothing to do with much else that's lacking elsewhere.

What's also surprised me is the closeness to conflicting with the interests of this boards ownership.

this is going slightly off topic, which in some part is the fault of one of my replies, its ok to comment on other points that are raised as the topic progresses but it might be worth remembering 'cleancare' asked for a price on 2 rooms might be worth adding your price to do this as well as your other comments :D

well half the reason I posted is I had a leaflet through the door a small room cleaned for £14 (seemed too cheap) just wondered if i should expect it to cost more because they are wool? also worried that if he is a newby he might not know what hes doing.

Im in Ipswich btw.

As most posts have been unhelpful you might be best just typing into your browser carpet cleaning ( your town  ) and find someone near you who should be charging from £40 - £50 which would represent the minimum charge for the majority on here.

Thanks Robert

What a coincidence, I am going to Ipswich this weekend to visit friends. I really am and not kidding you ;D So because "I will be in your area" I can now do it for less than I said before ;D

If you lived round here, with the measurement you gave, I would have to visit first as a 10 sq ft room just doesn't seem to be right, but as said before 2 rooms 20 sq ft would be in our minimum range so £55 ish.

Leaflets, you may be right that that is too cheap, but maybe the guy is short on business.
