First clean today on a house i picked up on a road i clean 3 houses already.I put a quick quote form in with a leaflet in 4 dirty houses on the street.Got 3  .
 Get a call from this one from the bloke sounded a decent bloke.Asked me to clean windows at price and frequency i put the quote form through.
 Also wanted gutters cleaning.
 Been stacked out with it this week,turns up there today and his mrs answers the door very polite middle aged lady.
 Goes round the back priced gutters,agreed on price,
 I said ok if i do gutters next time?
she says no problem.
So i clean the backs,bit dirty,look gleaming after
Goes round the front.
She comes out,"you done round the back?"
me "yes"
her"you havent cleaned the f-ing windows"
me"i have"
her" thats not how you clean windows,you just f***ing wet them"
her"get off my land now else ill call the police and if i see you here again i will get the police"
me"shocked"
I will be ringing her husband tommorow!
Im gonna tell him his wife is a f***i ng nutjob!
Im back down there tommorow accross the road

its 2011 and i clean 2 houses across the road,the bloke even seen me clean one accross the road!
 i want paying else ill be getting the police on them!

I had similar from a canvassed custy , threatening legal action If I came on her property ,
So I said Im quite happy to pass to my legal department , as she agreed to the first clean . Told her verbal contract pay up  , she went mental ,

Said small claims letter would be sent  , went even more do laly , so just laughed at
Her & said see u in court  

Shut her up lol , her old man was a bit of a thumper , but he just laughed to

she seemed a decent woman at first,yes i will be speaking to her husband and tell him im not being spoken to like that by anybody,the street was full too!

Same here, always explain if they are in on the first clean, give them a first clean sheet as well and say if you have any questions after the clean then let me know.

couple of years ago another window cleaner approached me to warn me of a cowboy out fit that just pull out a hose and brush the windows, I had to explain that it was probably a wfp system, he didn't believe till I opened my van doors and explained it all

Once about three years ago I had one like this, an Irish woman. Thing is she waited till I had finished before she went into one. But I never said anything because I didn't think it was worth it.

I had a customer ask me to clean his windows gave him a price and he agreed did job all well and good.he phoned me 6 months later asked me to do it again but this time he came home 1 hour after i finished it,he phoned me and went mental saying its all wet and if they are poope he wouldnt be paying me.anyway i explained to him calmly the ways wfp works but he was still not happy,i said if you have any problems dont pay and to call me in the morning after they have dried.
The morning came and no telephone. Call came from him so i tried to call him and got no reply,a few days later the money came in the post so cant have been that bad.
If the bugger phones me again i wont be doing his windows again, i can live without the hassle and his twice a year window cleans lol.
