Just coming up to my first winter doing the WFP window cleaning!!!
Fully aware that i'm gonna need a heater for the back of the van during the night  to give me a start in the mornings.Does anybody know what the best heater to get is?
I have a 650 litre tank in the back & i have fully lagged all the pipes as best as.

If you have access to mains electricity, a greenhouse heater is ideal.  Thermostatic frost protection - it cuts in at about 3 degrees and off again at about 5.

i use green house heater too, not as cheap as oil filled rad to run, but circulates the air better.  Mind you, with temperatures last winter needed to turn it pretty high.

Did the job tho, no damaged filters!  Can get them from any garden place, about £20.

I got mine from argos its an oil filled rad but only rated at 500w so will be cheap to leave on overnight,its got a thermo on it and its not very big so can leave it in van,should take the edge of the cold havnt used it yet but should be ok i hope,if it isnt ive only lost 25 quid.

I prefer a 2kw convector heater with thermostat control to an oil filled rad. Probably a bit more expensive to run but they do seem to produce more heat imo.

I remember guys on here last winter talking about the propex heaters. What was the outcome with the guys that had them fitted were they any good?

What, you can get bread sliced now already?  What will they think of next?  They'll be saying you can buy self cleaning windows!

If it aint up to the job, it could end up costing you more than £25.
