Cheapest place to buy machine is EBAY !!!

But why do you want to buy the cheapest??

Are you going to charge the CHEAPEST prices??

Ebay a good place to start as you can get good starter packages, but you pay for what you get as anything in life, I tend to go on how heavy things are like good watches are heavy, only kidding but I would get some advice from speaking to suppliers first as they will let you know whats good and whats not like duel vac motors and 100psi pumps.

As for insurance it should be the same as window cleaning, public liability and treatment risk is vital, and STRONGLY sugest training check ncca etc

hope this helps

Ebay may well appear to be the cheapest place to start, but be careful,I was ripped off for 450 quid a couple of years ago,for a machine that had "very little use",but was obviously last used by Noah to clean the carpets on his ark.
There are bargains to be had ,but be careful,I have learned a valuable lesson.
If you are serious about starting up try to consider a new machine if your budget will allow,at least you know what you are getting.-John

Is that a fact Colin, im sure there are plenty who disagree,
why i am replying really, i cant help noticing that all your replys seem to be targeted at selling your wares :P
ok dont blame you really, but perhaps a little more constuctive advise, as opossed to blatant "I supply, "I sell " ............. mode.
I just get the impression you have simply searched the web , to find methods of selling your wares.
if i am wrong I shall apologise now :-[
  good luck geoff
who ever said dont knock before u try ,i never tried dog crap but i know i wouldnt like  haha

I agree with Geoff.

I think we all want to know where the best deals are, and about new products or services.

Where  in my opinion suppliers go wrong is that they constantly plug time and time again and also ask clients to give them a plug.

There is another supplier who has started to do this.

So be helpful.

A post on using the Host machine might be benificial someone got one for £100 on Ebay on Sunday.

Not me went out came back and logged on to late to put in final bid.

Hi Geoff / Hi Ian

Sorry if I gave the wrong impression.

I am not just focused on selling my wares. However, point taken, I will try to offer more constructive advise in the future.

I have over 25 years experience in the carpet cleaning industry and would be pleased to help and advise on any topic. However, I am predominately pro host as opposed to wet cleaning systems.

Regards
