prostrate cancer
« on: November 18, 2011, 03:29:10 pm »
Hi all I don't know if anyone else is doing it but i am taking part in movember.

For those of you that don't know it is to raise money and awareness for prostrate cancer, so on the first of November I started out clean shaven and have begun to grow a moustache

I am just over half way through and if any of you could spare a small donation I would be extremely grateful  ;D  even if its only £1 it will all help for a great charity.

And what's a few quid in comparison

I've been walking round looking like a right fool for the last 2 weeks and still got another 2 to go.

I'm getting stick in my local, I'm having to explain it all the time as it really don't suit me,

The missus wont kiss me cos she hates it! oh hang on that's not such a bad thing ;)

anyway click the link below to make a small donation Please  ;D Or even just to laugh at me

OK Mark. I've donated to loads of friends recently but this one is close to my heart as both my Dad and my uncle had it (and beat it  ;D) - so a fiver on your page going straight where it's needed.

I'm sure you won't mind me pointing this out.

Prostate => gland in the male that sometimes unfortunately gets cancer

ProstRate => lying flat on your face  ;)
Don't wish it were easier. Wish that you were better - Jim Rohn

A huge Thank you scoop and I am very glad to here that they both beat it. :)

my dad was hospitalised with a very rare neurological disorder, so he was in addenbrookes neurology ward for 6 months,
because he was there for so long we saw so many people coming and going with different types of cancer.

it was so hard to watch young men dying especially as we had got to know them and there family's.

such a horrible disease.

thanks for pointing out the spelling i think it should be changed now ::)

once again Thank You  ;D
