Whoever thinks that posters need to use their own names has got it wrong, totally wrong, totally wrong.
I`m ready to leave if thats the case and i use my own name.

Pathetic. I`m not going to explain why but i know i`m right and anyone calling for participants to have to use their real names is wrong, totally wrong.
This request needs fighting off at all costs!,next comes the subscription fee!

So what is the point of it?
What is it going to bring to 'our' forum?

I agree.

There are a couple of other VERY GOOD forums out there now, much less restrictive & with a better feel than here. Less dreamers on them also, which is always a big plus! ;D

I'm not bother if my real name is shown. My profile links to my site where you'll find my name. It also links to Facebook and LinkedIn, where again you'll find my name. I've nothing to hide.
I'm also not bothered about my image being on here. Again it's on my site.

But I believe it shouldn't be a rule that you should use your real name as your username or show an image of yourself for that matter. If people want to role under an alias that's their decision.

Real names on an Internet forum?? That's ridiculous.

I love the way it's a post by "forum admin" aswell, a strange name that is. :)

Do we need a passport as proof or will a driving license suffice?

thanks Mitch, the trouble with sticky posts at the top of the page that are locked, is most ignore them, well I do as they are usually plugging something

I would like to see searchable content that tells me where people operate.
So if I need a job job done in say, Bracknell, I can find someone who operates there and contact them rather than posting a thread.
