Hi Guys,

I'm planning to make UK Carpet Cleaners ,www.ukcarpetcleaners into a buying block in the future by getting suppliers to offer members discounts.

Might work!

What do you think?

Cheers

Doug,

Suppliers normally want guarantees of x amount spend monthly. The only way round this is if you ask them to do a rebate scheme or if everyone was willing to buy from 1 supplier at normal prices for say 6 months then you could go back to them and say well we've spent x amount so let's talk more discounts.

James,

I wouldn't want to get bogged down in all that.

I would see it as a supplier would make an offer to members via the website.

e.g 15% off Prochem this month.

Cheers

Doug

Doug I know that you a shrewd man ayway but check first to see what discount they will offer you then go for a CIU larger discount.

I already get 20% off from my prochem dealer.

Chemspec also as it's the same dealer.
