I bought an L5 heater last November and can honestly say that I didnt lose a single day to the frost, so in my opinion, go for it.

Couldn't agree more. The hotwash from Peter Fogwil is a great bit of kit.

When using the L5 does it go in before going through the resin or after, and if before does the hot water shorten the working length of the resin??

At the moment we have water tank to pump to DI cannisters to hosereel so where in that lot would the heater go????

Sorry if that sounds a bit thick, I'm from Devon ;)

The heater should be the last thing before the hose reel. If you have DI after the heater you'll be waiting about 15 minutes for the first bit of hot water as it'll have to fill your DI and 100mtrs of hose before it gets hot at the brush!

Any links or videos of this Fogwash system.
I'm concerned about how I need to vent gasses. I don't want to be cutting my caddy van!!!

Quote from the m5 crash
Quote
Several propane gas cylinders are thought to have exploded during the crash causing two fireballs to engulf part of the crash site. The intensity of the flames also melted away tarmac on the road.

Gives us something to think about  :o

Immersion works well - insulate your tank and it stays warmer much longer.
It's a game of three halves!

What do insulate the tank with? I'm guessing that standard foil backed stuff on a roll??

i am going to use the hard board with foil backing,  but might paint it first to keep heat in,
