are the old leaded windows good to wfp i have a job with these and they seem very delicate.
Is it just a case of gentle scrub plenty of water.

any advice helpful.

I have a few houses like this and they come up mint!

You may get the odd window that leaks a bit of water inside but I explain to the customer and they are fine with it

they do leak because they are individual pains....(and there 60yr old)

i still do em mind, just brush softly

Yes they wfp lovely and look really good when done.

plenty of water and gentle scrubbing with a good rinse.

yes they do leak but most customers with this style of window are already aware of this !

but just check and confirm that they are happy with everything

Be very careful with the leaded windows as even if you are gentle the brush will pull the lead off

i find the older the glass the shinier it looks!

Thanks for replys will have a word with the customer and give it a go if he is ok with it will have to go easy by the sounds of it  though as my brushes are stiff.

I only use a soft brush and still some lead comes off on some windows
Don't get me wrong I still do leaded but I tickle the dirt off

i think are you confusing 'leaded' that are stuck on with old fashioned leaded windows where each segment is an
individual piece of glass
