machines power
« on: November 02, 2011, 01:54:55 pm »
Hi, I am planning to buy some extra machines and doing some research.

Prochem advertises that it has 150 psi, but it has 2 jests. Does it have 150 on each of them or 75? Also what is the motor power in Wats? on the website it says Dual 3-stage "hi-lift" vacuums, but nothing about the power.

Also, how often do you have to replace accessories like hose or wand?

I will be very thankful if someone knows the answers.

Thanks,

Johnny

The machine is a twin vac, vac motors will likely be 1400 or 1500 watts 5.7 inch. My Airflex Turbo had tripple 1500 watt motors, but the my new Storm has twin 6.6 inch (fan diameter) motors which do out perform the tripple vac, which I don't even pretend to understand. The pumps my machines use are pumptec which if looked after will last a good 500hrs +, the 150 psi will probably be a demand pump probably a sureflo but perfectly good for the job. It's fine getting water down, but you do need to get it up. The water under pressure is distributed between the jets evenly if they are in good condition I use twin jets but also have 4 jet and 3 jet wands. The Hoses and wands can last a lifetime so buy well, you will need to change jets now and again and always carry a spare trigger assembly or repair kit, an easy fix if you have them. I change solution hoses about every 2 years for £100 for 50 ft it's worth it. I have vac hoses nearly 20 years old, again buy well and they will last.
