have a couple of pressure washers 13 hp diesel which i use on drives etc and a couple of baby electric jobbies
for washing down etc
looking at buying another machine for this type of work

have kept away from connies in the past but in these hard times every penny is a bonus

have a telescopic pole brushes etc and all the attachments

what size pressure washer would be best suited to conny bashing  in conjunction with using my pole

i wouldn't use a pressure washer for cleaning conservatories,to much power that can do a lot of damage

A pressure washer could damage the seals on the conservatory roof

A mate of mone, ised a p/washer on his own conservatory roof, it leaked water down the inside wall and knackered  a £700 lcd telly moumted on the wall,
I clean his roof now usimg wfp

i def wouldnt use a pw on con roofs but hey its your business and your choice

same again, i got a conny roof clean cos they had previously got the gardener to power wash it and it poured in down the wall

Pressure washer + conservatory doesn't mean damage.

If someone hasn't got a WFP set up and only does pressure washing, it doesn't mean you can't clean a conservatory.

Turn the unloader down and use a high pressure telescopic lance with brush. like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9cpRiFgJ1vw

or ladder up to gutter, car brush and degreaser and scrub. Again turn down the unloader, turbo nozzle the ridge crestings and rinse at low pressure. No damage done.

wfp sounds like it may be the way foward how do you remove the stubbon green algie staining and black streaking
is there a good fluid that can be sprayed on to ease removal

done the first today
no leaks no problems

used tfr electric karcher pw / telescopic lance with brush and jet attachment

worked a treat

may have not leaked but may have damaged the seals etc ...

Rinsing off at low pressure via a pressure washer is no different than using a hosepipe connected to their tap or even a heavy downpore of rain.

Oooooh ooooh pressure washer = damage 'cos it's powerful. Nope.

Half of the people on here don't know how to start a pressure washer or how to hold a lance but claim to know what one can damage.

the wrong tool in the wrong hand is always a bad thing,

We pressure wash cons and dont get and issue at all. if your going to blast a seal or under the peak then  expect leaks, low pressure to put viro sol on scrub with a wfp and rinse off with pressure washer. we run a hot water pressure washer and this works so much better then cold water.

well that makes sense If its no difference than a hose and tap than why not use a hose and tap  instead of extra expense running costs diesel petrol etc... U tell me how he is reducing pressure on an electric karcher most cheap ones are set pressure ??
Some finials are fixed via double sided tape stick a turbo on it and will land 3 doors up lol .... But up to U... down here we work for several local conservatory companies if we used washers dont care what pressure they wont use us... full stop ... but what do they know they only make them  Luv ya Lee!

done another today used the same method small electric karcher pressure washer with telescopic lance wetted up then applied tfr then washed down  then all wall glass cleaned trad
no leaks or issues
seems to work ok and quicker than using wfp and a better and quicker clean

both have been large connies well made
not the cheap mass produced poope you get on the back of a average domestic house
proper sealed sections rubber  consealed drips and mastic sealed with nice chunky sections
