Sharpening Spikes
« on: November 01, 2011, 05:48:11 pm »
How do people keep their spikes sharp? The chap who used to do it in Bradford has retired.
Also, can you use one of those ladderm8rix (ladder mat) if you have spikes on your ladder?
Any help/ideas gratefully accepted

I preferred it when mine went blunt as there was less chance of damaging tarmac drives. First set lasted about 9 years then when I changed ladder 2nd set lasted about 8 years until I went wfp then no longer used that lparticular ladder.

Never fell off a ladder with spikes on even though both sets ended up very worn..
