Leaflets
« on: November 19, 2005, 05:27:09 pm »
Hi All.......

I'm still in the early stages of my new career as CC. I'm putting a leaflet out with one colour on white paper.

Has anyone noticed a difference in respone with different "colours"?

The advertising world says colours can influence people.

I used to work with a company that did Red on White.

I use Burgundy on White.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Go for the best you can afford, i have full colour digtal printing. great response rates.
My next lot will be 250gsm postcards with super gloss cover....maximum impact.

we have a local cc who delivers A4 sized leaflets , black on white....looks crap.

I think the more pro you can look the better.

I find it makes a huge diffrence what you put on flyers,

some people go down the route of before and after shots, others like babys and animals. I think they both work but nothing beets a good offer and plenty of informative info explaing why your better than the rest.

Thanks Guys,

The better the Colours on the leaflets the better the response, but I am "growing" and need to be carefull with the "£'s".

It's an "egg or chicken" scenario I know.

I would love to have full colour-all singing-all dancin leaflets, but for the new guy starting out, I just wonderd if there was a colour that hit the "Hot Spot"

Pileprofile,

You say you have great response rate...........what resonse rate do you think I should be achieving to have a similar result to yourself? Or..the question I am asking is: what responce rate per 1000 do you have?

Sorry...............

Ben

I think I read into you having a good response rate. Would you mind expanding on your "rates per 1000".

Thanks

1% is still 25 bookings from 2500 lealfets, which is at least double any thing I've ever seen, you sure must have a good leaflet any chance we could see it?

I too put out full colour glossy leaflets but only get around 3 bookings per 1000 leaflets 0.3% return. I would love to see a copy of your leaflet. Any chance you can email me with a copy. Thanks

Hi all

Your thoughts on the Pink flyer would be much appreciated as I am not sure of the returns that I am getting from them. For other Fast track guys this seems to be the bread and butter but hear in sunny old Camberley we do not seem to have the same comeback as they do. The area is full of rich people and amunsre of the right approach to them.

Cheers

A copy of your leaflet would be appreciated, we only get 2-3 jobs per 1000 at present and I'm after a more effective advert.

that'll teach you won't it james ;D ;D ;D

never offer anything on these forums or you'll get another 20 people asking for it!  Whats best to do is send it to one person then they foreward it onto the next, then they forward it etc..etc

My average response rate is .0031, but has been higher, this means for every thousand leaflets i can expect to get  around 3 calls.

I am currently part time and put out 3000 per week, which amounts to 9 calls and usually 90% conversion= 8 jobs. My average booking is currently around £75, so i would expect at least £600 return.

I am looking to go full time in april, so i think 10k per week should do the trick.

I think a response rate higher than this is doing really well.
My Brother (ollie) has a much higher response rate with a very similar leaflet, but there is less competition where he is based.

P.s If anyone knows how to upload a pdf to the site could you let me know, Ta
