Missing threads ?
« on: November 16, 2005, 06:38:04 pm »
I'm not a regular visitor to the forum, but yesterday I read something of interest to me, I think started by Tosh, upon which I commented. The subject was a residential wfp kit question, but today I can't find it to see if it has attracted any further comments. Are threads deleated some times?. If not, where has it gone, or am I not looking hard enough?

Too right chaps - check out my "Starship Enterprise topic" - it's got a very plausible theory in it!
It's a game of three halves!

Hi Simon,

Offended by you - not possible.  ;)

Small jobs in South Wales Im afraid - certainly not worth you travelling over the bridge paying that silly £4.80 charge.   ;D

That was a really interesting post started by Tosh. Will all other posts refering to DIY systems dissapear?
Lots of us have, and will continue to build our own systems.
Two, or two thousand heads are better than one. Many of us have ideas about improving our systems. Are these ideas not to be shared? If not what is the point of this forum? We can no longer send PM's to others that share our interests.
Are we to be disscouraged from helping other window cleaners, perhaps with a lot of commitments and limited funds, from getting into WFP?
New regulations are in force to try and prevent falls from heights.
Surely it is in all our interests to promote safer working practice in our industry.
If that means helping guys to get into WFP at a price they can afford, then that should be commended.
Guess there is no such thing as a free lunch, Dai.

Hiya Vince  :)

Good to see ya "over here"

Hey it's Mikes forum,,, he pays the bills so I have no problem.

I have publicised the Freedom system here and if Mike doesn't want that its his call.  Having said that I was feeling a bit awkward last night with so many folks saying how good etc it is. Those statements were only made in response to questions though. I do feel that I contibute to the forum in as many ways as possible though. ( Thanks for the recent wrist slap David @ ST Ives )  :)  but you know how it is.. sometimes you get a bit carried away in the euphoria of success.

Like Dai so rightly says there is no such thing as a free lunch.
