Customer Database
« on: November 16, 2005, 04:54:05 pm »
Hi All......

Right, so now i'm building up the customers (Woo-Hoo!!) I would like to now think about how I'm going to assist these customers with future cleans. Not being a genius on the computor, could anyone recommend some software that will allow me at the click of a button to:

1 Do the mailshot thing.
2 Arrange customers by area/postcode that sort of thing
3 Make me a cup of tea!!

Any help gratefully appreciated

Regards

Tony

Easiest way is using outlook express for customer details, then mail merge with Microsoft word, Publisher etc.

You can easily set up sub categories for different customer types in the contacts folder list.

Act contact management software is supposed to be good - but not really necessary.

I don't have Act, but have been looking into it after what CMS had to say. It looks a fantastic bit of software to me, you can target rest homes and companies with ease. I think he said he can run off 100 letters per hour with no input from himself at all!!!!
Now THATS necessary.

I use act!, good bit of software, you can design your own layout, reports, mail mergers/mail shots, group contacts etc..

Depends if you want to pay out for it!!
