I am planning on starting a carpet/upholstery cleaning business at the start of 2006, does anyone know of a good insurance company that deals with insurance for carpet cleaners. and any idea on yearly quotes.
also,I hear alltec chemicals are good what products do you folks use that are highly recommend for excellent results?

For insurance look back a couple of pages through the topics it came up not so long ago and there were a lot of replies, but for now I pay £400 a year for public/l and t/risk, (recon im being ripped off) but make sure training is paramount, so hopefully you will not need insurance

HSBC ahve a new policy i use it and its £262 a year for my LTD company it covers all liabilitys and treatment risks and tools left in your van or on site overnite up to £20k also  damage to someones property by accident ie dropping your wand on their nice ceramic floor!!

its better cover than my old insurance and half the price

I just had quote of HSBC for liability, damage cover and tool cover £460.
I think they price new starters higher dispite having recognised training.
Best quote so far is £320 from mac lloyd but waiting still waiting for other companies replies.
