I've had Gardiners mini bore for 3,5+ years and haven't had any problems with it. I pulled it around sharp corners all day. Now my wife uses it if she comes out with me. Got some life left on it, I reckon it would have lasted 4 years continual use no problem. That's pretty good going.

I've got the microbore from them now, haven't had it long yet so can't really comment on longevity. Swells up a bit when using hot, but hey, don't care even if it would last half as long.

6 months is a laugh, name 'em and shame 'em.  :D

its bubbling up all over the place.not impressed with this hose at all.the outer layer has come away causing bubbles.it happened after about 2 months.i cut a bit off then this week its happened again on about 10 metres of it.im not cutting any more off it as i need the current length.

does yours get driven over on a regular basis?

Hi Daz

I currently use a cold system and have my hose regularly driven over with no problems.

Ive had a PF 100m hose & reel for the last 8 months.

Just about to start putting hot through it, and hope its as tough

Try the stuff from daqua it is slightly heavier but much more resistant to wear and tear.

Sounds like you have had a duff roll. Email me on alex@agardiner.co.uk and I can sort this out for you.

JUST LIKE TO SAY ITS A NICE CHANGE TO SEE ALEXS POST !
DONT OFTEN GET THAT FROM A SUPPLIER , THINK I MIGHT USE HIM MORE NOW (WELL DONE ALEX )

Anyway this was my last hose from streamline using L5
I have had another since from same people with no probs , i have been carefull when pulling round corners this time as i do believe when warm the hose has a tendancy to delaminate  , it dont like being stretched in other words .

Also it is worth checking with your supplier who their supplier is , as back along i know that streamline were doing a lot of gear for pure freedom , not sure if this is still the case ?

I.'ve got a red coloured 8mm hose supplied by x line had it 2years of hard use. its used on hot now. tested it out by turning hotwash up full and the water was boiling in the hose. it was completely unaffected and remains strong
