I' after a new stair wand, found this on Restormate
http://www.restormate.co.uk/Short-Stair-Wand
it looks like it comes without a handle, is that the case?
Also, whats the pros & cons of S-Bend vs Straight?

No real difference if the vacuum head is cut at a 45 degree angle on a straight one.
That way you dont have to keep it parallel to the floor.

Had one but didnt find it comfortable to use.
Couldnt wait to get rid of it in the end.
Maybe borrow one if you can before you shell out.

I agree, bought one a couple of years ago, used it twice and sold it. Now I always try to try before I buy with any piece of kit.

I have a very similar tool, I bought it from a guy in the US mine has a hand grip.
Dead handy for small areas like toilets.
When it comes to stairs you can't beat a standard 5" hand tool.

I have one and use it on all stairs and tight areas. Wouldn't be without it.

Philip, Joe, might help to mention the ones you actually bought as it wasn't ours.

I have a 6inch curtain tool which I use mostly on stairs, I have a stair wand with a rotating head but mainly use it in toilets or tight landings, I find it a little awkward to do the bullnose & raiser of the stairs
