Was on my round today and i found one of Dave Morris men poaching my work , couldnt believe how low that man will go , heard he was now a national with a low carbon footprint , but how can we all compete with that ?

Joking aside , i found this chap whilst out today and it made me laugh , then it made me mad , jealous , admire  , sad , wonder , about his situation , and why he was doing what he was , maybe a drink drive ban was to blame , maybe he was a bit of a loon , who knows , i took the pics on the hush as he did not look a full bottle of chips !

Fair play to him though for the effort put in to put money on the table !

You decide for yourself if he pays his tax

Good on him, if he was down this way I would happily take him on and give him a leg up.

Many years ago I worked for a very succesful window/ general cleaning firm who had dozens of people on the books. The bloke that owns and runs it started out on his bike.

When I started I couldn't afford a bike, or a ladder come to that.

God helps those that help themselves.

it would be easy to make a mockery of someone like this but before anyone does, ask yourselves this.

If I didn't have a vehicle in order to go to work, would I put in the effort that this guy obviously does?

I'll be honest, I don't think I would unless it was absolutely necessary (as in life or death)

i don't know if he knows he could get better prices but i know the customers
are laughing at him for being so cheap.

i feel sorry for the guy as one day he had a bucket/trad gear 3 mtr ladder & set of steps ( 5ft )
and had dropped the steps and couldn't bend down enough with all the other gear to retrieve them..

he's either on foot or bike - and travels from village to village - must do 15 miles a day!

You know what, i admire people like this, fairplay to em!

Theres a guy in town who walks everywhere on foot carrying ladders round, and at first glance you may laugh at him, but no fuel expenses, general wear and tare and all the rest that comes with it. No WFP costing £1000's or going wrong!

Just you, ladder and gear out earning. Could easily do well over £100 a day with the right rounds...and no expense .... hmmmmmmmm

Ionic`s WFP systems.
Where it`s flat like Oxford,Lincoln,what about making a trycycle
Pulling a small rickshaw type unit.
There would be room for small WFP trolley,squeegee`s, etc etc.
Sign written,he`d pull work in like the `clappers`,,,,,,,,and why,

seen a bloke near me with a pushbike towing a little trailer with an extandable ladder, bucket and a 5litre water bottle ... as someone else has said no expense or maybe the odd bike tyre every 2 years

chap i see on my round in his early sixties got a brilliant
trad set up on his bike all sort of attachments for carrying
ladders,buckets etc.
