Sodium metabisulphite is used as a home brew steriliser, so you would have to presume that's what it is. But if you're not sure you could eb wasting your time trying to use this stuff when it's not the right thing. I would be suspicious, seems as it is a "retail" product, that it might not be "full strength" or might even be a "safe" alternative to the real deal.
Why risk it? Get some off eBay, costs a few quid for 100g delivered to your door. Cheap as chips.
By the way, Ink is a job for solvent. Red wine is a job for hydrogen peroxide (oxidiser). Sod met is a reducing agent, wrong way round for red wine
