I dont think i've ever done over 3 or 4 its not worth the risk.....

i dont go higher than 000ppm now-a days. be carefull! especially as said, on hot south facing quick drying windows!

why are the ones facing the sun prone to spot how dose that work and what happens??

Something to do with drying quickly.

Do windows spot at a high tds if not in the sun, then?

yeah they dry too quick and dont get chance to rinse as well leaving suspended dirt on the glass, the obvious answer to this is to rinse very thorough!
