Employing from the job centre
« on: October 18, 2011, 06:06:37 pm »
Hi,

Has anybody done this? And if so what results have you had?

I've currently got a job advertised there and I eagerly await the results,

http://jobseekers.direct.gov.uk/detailjob.aspx?sessionid=56cfc6b5-0f2e-48db-ad1a-8f86501b9613&pid=1&j=LTS/16367

They have made a mistake on the hrs but that will be changed tomorrow.

Thanks,

Dean

i am surprised thay let you ask for a clean driving liscence as that is classed as discrimination to those who dont have clean driving licenses!! i tried to advertise with them for someone over 25 for insurance purposes and that is what they told me!!

Clean driving license is a must to start as they usually obtain speeding tickets whilst working for me rushing in between towns.

Although if you can sort out:

Paid travel to and from Cardiff
Mondays off for Monday club up the local
Tuesdays off for mid week footy
Wednesday no prob
Thursday off as I have the kids
Friday I need off in preparation for the weekend
Saturday off for bluebirds
Sunday off in preparation for the week ahead

We've had a few applicants like that recently.

Cheers,

Huw
