I have a chance of getting one of of these second hand are they any good  for £600

Yeah they are ok, i have the ro version, capacity is a bit ltd though and you can save a few hundred by building your own system. Only advantage with the e compact is they are crash tested.

 I thought it was a good price i could not see myself building one for anywhere near £600 i need a small second system  if anybody got better for sale  i need one soon

well what size is it - is the ro still good?

also how many pumps has it got and are they working?

if its all in good working order then I'd say why not - a decent 4040 ro will set you back £500 anyway.

it was the 250 but for some reason the bloke has  taken it off e-bay
and the one richy wilts has got is a 800LT to big still looking
