old people, there i said it. Does anyone employ anyone older? I have taken on a guy who is 62, in this climate he seemed a really good candidate, he seemed fit enough to do the work, yet could not get a job anywhere after being made redundant, so grateful for the job, and also is not better of not working as some of the young ones can be as not stuck in the benefits system, so along with the other factors he seemed a goer. .................. and all is ok 3 weeks on except his health is really starting to look like it could be a problem and he's really short of breath working etc. anyone had experience of employing older people? any thoughts please?
