25 years man and boy, ive been doing shops lol

we have done them all over that time

all the major banks/building societies
smiths
curries
boots
all the opticians
tesco
sainsburies
iceland
argos

this list is endless...but pretty much every chain in a high street you can think of, we have done at some stage

a good 75% of them go national now...then they sub to regional companies....who quite often sub to local guys

the problem is that the money is so low, once down the food chain that its not worth putting your name to the type of clean that warrants the money!!

the other issue....is once you get a price you are ok to sub contract for....the comany that pays you...(or any of the others up the chain), gets out bid or goes bust!!!...this is a ton of hastle at your end!!! a real nightmare tbh

the other 25% of the chains who are not nationalaly covered....they pay such a low amount that its hard to make it pay....the best one is a new chain moves in to your town...they want the store to look great initially....and pay what you ask for regular work...but over the months the cut backs come...and the money drops :(

the only shops (IMO) worth doing are indipendantly owned ones....but whether they stay afloat in competition to the chains is another issue!!

ladbrokes are going national, they have taken them all on but are doing it in segments instead off all at once,

That is the future of retail window cleaning. Many do this now as they realize it only takes a few minutes and no skill. Soon at job interview's it will be put to the would be shop employee that window washing is in the remit. Today, they will not question it as they will just be glad to have any kind of job. I have seen it happen already quite a lot.
