any ideas of what is the best type of gardiners super lite brush, i am using an old dual trim at the moment but because i really only do upstairs windows with the pole i feel that the inside bristles dont really do anything because the presure on the glass isnt really enough for them to touch the glass, any ideas

i got an extreme wide,  white dual trim, black dual trim, white single trim and a black dual cill brush  and to be honest some day some are great and some aint, a lot has to do with what mood i am in, i think you need to try as many as you can, to find the one that suits you

My advice to you is to go and see what your superlite is doing, and not guess what you 'feel' its doing. By this i mean get someone to clean your own upstairs windows and have a look from inside as they are doing them. The reason i say this is that i'm now using the new extreme brushes, and at first i thought they are no good they are not scrubbing anything. I suppose thats the idea of them, they're mean't to make the job easier, but when its easy we don't feel like we're doing enough?! The monofilaments (as opposed to the flocked brushes) are somewhat stiffer and may require a stiff pole or elbow grease to get a splay. Anyway, here's my dual trim mono at about 50 ish foot on the emd of a fishing pole, which i imagine has more flex that a very rigid pole.



For maintainance cleans i think its hard to beat the black , flocked extreme brush.
