Email on thursday, "hi looking for a window cleaner, can you ring asap to confirm you can come and clean our windows as window cleaners these days are shy of chasing up new customers"

So i thought get in touch straight away, said id call round for a quote. Went the next day left a quote thru door...

Received a email later that day..."hi thanks for the quote but at the moment we are fixed up but keep you in mind for the future"

may have a windy already but is crap but your quote may have been too expensive so they decide to stay with other until they come across acheaper windy sound like messers

One thing I've learnt in this game is not to try and understand everything customers tell you, because at times it's enough to drive you bonkers. Just forget it and move on.

i agree don't try and work people out. too many weirdos for my liking

the one i like is when you give a quote and they say they will let you know as they need to get a few quotes in...errr i said 10 quid you cheap mudda funkster...

we lost 5 jobs out of seven in one road, all the same week

the two we lost are never in in the day time

each one we lost has made up some story about why/what/when/how they cant keep us...but none have admitted that they found someone cheaper...

saw another wc there that i know...he told me the area was canvassed (durin day time hours) by a new wc, as he lost two jobs to him as well

just goes to prove that customers will say anything but the truth lol

i have had similar situations. Had two this week, 2 neighbours, both with different stories *Yawn* bye bye!!
