Slag it off all you want, it'd been there for a week, with covers all over it, what's in it I don't know?

Flushed it through with Microsan.

Hi

Thanks guys, very kind of you to post up :)

Feces is a tough stain to remove completely as we simply don't know what the person has been eating (food dyes etc) as well as the diseases it contains.

From other pics around the internet I can see that the staining doesn't come out fully. I know some willl disagree and that their machine would of got all out but i can say i doubt it, as a stain can be a chemical reaction and therefore complete removal would then be impossible.

I will also say as on other posts I can't hire a truckmount or  'The Jesus machine' for a week as it's not practical in cost or transport.

Thanks again!

Regards

They paid £300 for that cleaning?
Why not just bin it and buy another carpet?

John

I do at least 2 of these or similar  a week , and charge a bit more than that.

It is the correct Health and safety procedures and paperwork that they are paying for.
I clean carpets
I dry Buildings

Just wondering do you normally use your Envirodry  for faces ?  At what stage would you remove carpet as you recall I phoned you about two weeks ago regarding a dead body.

Big difference between " processed " faeces and body fluids Ian the latter is likely to have penetrated through to and into the floor boards whereas faeces will mostly be sitting on the op of the pile.

I did that kind of work regularly for about 10 years. Not pleasant especially on a hot summer's day.

Im with martin on this one i also live and work in brighton but use a truckmount  so try to avoid working in the centre of town like the plague as with the small lanes and streets also tons of stairs not to mention the restricted parking everywhere and traffic wardens just waiting round the corner to pounce on you even when just unloading so to be honest if your gonna use a machine in the middle of brighton even with its faults  i think the karcher is probably your best bet

Hi Ian

I will be very honest and say that for Faeces I would not use my EnviroDri as then it would be a nightmare to clean and I wouldn't want to contaminate either my machine or other carpets.

I did another poo & pee job about 2 months ago and again I hired the Karcher (1st time) and it did a fantastic job and the client was chuffed to bits, the carpet came up fantastic as well I thought.

As Craig says the amount of stairs you have to climb in this town is amazing and for some bizarre reason most of my cleans happen to be flat 6 or 10 (another way of saying the top floor  ;D )

I lost a job today which would of taken my week carpet total to £625, as it stands it's £455 and the machine goes back on Friday.

My EnvirpDri is going to cost £416.16 to repair but that's for a new motor and drive shaft, bearings, brushes with Labour and VAT.

I do enjoy the wet cleaning as the chems are much cheaper, pennies but I do love my EnviroDri but again any pro cleaner should have both (even me  ;) )

Keep talking like that and you might be allowed to join TACCA.

Was that the sound of a can of worms being opened? :D

Got another faeces job tomorrow, machine goes back by 2pm and my Envirodri get delivered tomorrow.

The little puzzi earnt me £500 this week over 3 jobs.

Update: Well, machine gone back, Earnt £500 over 3 jobs, repairs to my Sebo & EnviroDri were £506.16 -£60.91 to hire the machine, so not a bad results, better than being down for a week and being over £500 out of pocket.
