Hi guys,
Just wondering how many of you chaps use a 0800 number on your leaflets or vans as i have been thinking of doing this myself but surely a lot of domestic customers seem to employ lets say people from there local community or area, just what i might be thinking (i could be wrong on this )any suggestions on this topic would be appreciated
thanks

Good to have both the freephone number and mobile.
If you have 0800 number it does suggest you want their business, which is a plus whenever I am looking for a service an 0800 number would sway my choice.

It does not say much for your judgement if a the price of a phone call could sway you
.The problem with 0800 they are only free for a B t customer. If I use my mobile it will cost me a lot more and many other I s P and in fact is not free, making the free phone a farce.I would not ever inflict a cost to my customer even if it is a stealth cost.

Try these, ive just set up with them after being recommended
http://www.numbergroup.com/
Free setup, 1.5p a min to a landline and i think its 13.5 to a mobile to receive. Its all online so you can change numbers here and there, and also check reports, calls taken missed etc.
It works in seconds after setting it up. Fantastic.

i looked at them but who uses a landline these days so i use mobile numbers 99% of the population have them with free minutes try phoning a free phone number from a mobile i get really p*ssed off trying to phone the bank free phone costs a fortune iv heard of 03 number s or something which are supposed to be free for mobiles .
also i looked at diverts for 0800 to my mobile it was something like £10 per minute with bt fook that if someone wants you they will call you i dont think a free phone number will make a difference apart from costing you money
