Hi
does any one know what the best product to use would be for this god awful hob and worktop, and painted wall behind it?
It hasn't been cleaned for a long long time, and its all yellow/orange and sickly sticky.

I would appreciate any advice, thanks xx

alkaline degreaser seldon st20 ( think thats the name)

but

as i have said before, if its really that bad, is it a replacement job as opposed to a cleaning task.

Hi Lisa,

Look like you are getting quite a bit of business in now!!! Well done!

We tend to use Mr Muscle Oven cleaner on the tops of the oven, then we find that neat Cleenol Lift does the trick, but we leave it on for about an hour.

Have to tried a hand held steam cleaner, but make sure you carry out all the health and saftey stuff though.Ensure the oven unplugged etc etc..

You could use a steam cleaner on End of Tenancy Cleans for Kitchens, bathrooms, etc.

Whereabouts in Chester are you going to live, and also remember that you may quailfy now for a grant for the Welsh Development Agency!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where do i get these products from? can i buy them on the hight street?
I have had someone phoning me about me qualifying for a grant. I thought it was a wind up. Maybe It wasn't after all. I'll have to see if i still have the voicemail message with phone number and get on to them. 
Proabably be in the saltney area, or city centre.
I have no idea what would be expected of me-cleaning wise- in chester, whats the out look for cleaning services there?
There are loads of apartment blocks and offices etc, I want to see if I can get some communal regular work to get me up and running in the area.
Any ideas on how to get some work there would be great.
I have just realised...I will have 2 offices, one in shrewsbury and one in chester  hows that for business expansion.

You Know this will probably sound a bit naff and I know there are a host of good products out there, but I just tried some of that Cillit Bang degreaser on some baked on grease the other week, ( No not in my own house)
and it did a great job in just a few minutes.

City Centre wouldbe good for you, think about all those student accomodation areas!!!!!!!!!

Why not go to Council and ask if they tender  out their home help services (the cleaningsideonly).My dad lives in Colwyn Bay and the council have so much work like this that they tender loads out to this company.
I doing this down here in Reading.
Cleenol lift, I pirchase from Euroffice.co.uk, you would be ok to get an account with them.
Get you steam cleaner form Argos, Ebay, Woolies, etc...

In Chester, go around the big offices like Manweb, if it's still there, ask if they have a staff noticeboard,if they do, ask them if they could put up some posters for you.

Let me think on about Chester, but let me know how far north you are going to go!!!!

hi everyone, thanks for your thoughts. I will try anything on that grease, cillit bang cut through some but it was hard work (shows you the extent of the yucky-ness) 

Hi denise, i was thinking that when i visited the other day, loads of student accomm and flats etc, don't really know where to start. don't want to step on anyones toes either, (not sure who else on here covers chester)
